Britney Spears Being Single Is “Awesome”

New York (eCanadaNow) - The freshly divorced Britney Spears, who is attending a fashion show in New York this weekend said being single is “awesome.”
The 25-year-old pop star offered her encouraging take on the single life while attending Friday’s fashion show for Baby Phat by designer Kimora Lee Simmons and KLS Collection Fall 2007 at New York’s Roseland Ballroom, People magazine said.
“It’s awesome,” Spears said succinctly as she wore a slinky spaghetti-strapped dress and matching pumps.
Spears divorced rapper Kevin Federline on Nov. 7, 2006, and has since been the focus of media for her social life with her fellow celebrities.
Speaking about Spears’ increased presence in the media since her divorce, Simmons offered the “I’m A Slave 4 U” singer her support.
“Sometimes she gets a hard rap,” Simmons told People of Spears. “(But) she is a very talented girl.”
