Thanks a lot K-Fed. All of us got a kick out of rap daddy Kevin Federline dreaming of stardom in his widely talked about Nationwide Insurance Super Bowl commercial. The soon to be ex-husband of Pop star turned disaster, Britney Spears has really made us mad this time. It appears he has inspired former ‘white rapper’ of the 90’s, Vanilla Ice out of retirement.
Page Six is reporting TurboTax.com has hired the pale rapper to host the ‘Tax Rap Contest’ on TheTaxRap.com, "providing fun-loving taxpayers nationwide a shot at their own Grammy-worthy performance and $25,000 in winnings," the site boasts. *** Ice, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, is kicking off the contest unveiling his new original music video "inspired by his own personal tax-filing experiences" on YouTube. This ought to be good. Cue the rep™: A rep for the company said, “We want people ‘to get their tax on’.’ I’m not certain what that means but the company will have to go a long way to top Federline’s spot. And Ice doesn’t have that whole Britney Spears thing to boost him either. Van Winkle has made several attempts to regain fame over the years even losing to fellow has-been celebrity and former Diff’rent Strokes actor, Todd Bridges on Celebrity Boxing and appearing on VH1’s Surreal Life. *** Ice currently lives in Wellington, Florida with his wife, Laura, and their two daughters, Dusti Raine and Keelee Breeze.
