Britney Spears goes bald

the paparazzi following her every move, and with the eyes of the world focused on what she would do next, Britney Spears caught just about everybody by surprise. Just one day after Britney Spears allegedly checked in and out of rehab in Antigua, Spears was spotted heading to a tattoo shop in the Sherman Oaks district of Los Angeles, but it wasn’t the imminent tattoo that was catching people’s attention.
As Britney Spears headed to the "Body and Soul" tattoo shop in the Sherman Oaks district of Los Angeles Friday night, the same day that People magazine reported Spears had checked in and out of Eric Clapton’s Crossroads rehab center in Antigua, Britney Spears could be seen sporting a new haircut. Britney had traded in her blonde, curly locks for a completely bald head, and was headed into the tattoo parlor to top off her transformation. The bald Britney Spears was caught on camera by KABC-TV in Los Angeles, who was seen sporting a tattoo of a pair of red and pink lips on her right wrist. Max Gott, the tattoo artist at Body and Soul in Sherman Oaks, told the TV station, She just wanted something real small on her wrist, something dainty." Gott continued, "She got some cute little lips on her wrist."
According to Playfuls, Derrik Snell, another employee at the tattoo salon said Spears showed up unannounced and waited for 90 minutes before she got inked. Us Weekly has reported that as well as the pair of red and pink lips, Britney Spears also got a tattoo of a black, white and pink cross on her lower hip. Snell was quoted by Playfuls as saying that Britney Spears "seemed fine" and that "I didn’t really notice (the hairdo) at first, she had a hood on when she showed up."
But, in a sign Britney may be headed towards a nervous breakdown, Us Weekly reported that when asked why she shaved her head, Britney Spears responded by saying, "I don’t want anyone touching me. I’m tired of everybody touching me." While the bald Britney Spears didn’t cause any problems for one of the employees at Body and Soul, Us Weekly quoted another employee who said that Spears arrived agitated and that Britney "wasn’t making sense at all", claiming the estranged wife of Kevin Federline was "totally freaking out." The woman also told Us that, "She was a nightmare to deal with. She was screaming and flipping out from the pain and wiggling her body all around."
As people began to notice Britney and her bald head, some fans offered their opinions on the new Spears look. One woman told KABC that, "We could see her in the mirror, and her head is completely shaved." The woman added simply, "It looks terrible." But fans are the only people who disapprove of Britney’s bald look. A source was quoted by E Online as saying that, "Her mom is constantly crying," and that "Her family is freaking out."
With the new haircut and the fresh tattoos, Britney Spears manages to outdo herself in the headlines each week. Last weekend, while her former lover Justin Timberlake and their former Mickey Mouse Club colleague Christina Aguilera were busy performing at the Grammys, Spears was in New York City, where witnesses saw the former pop star avoiding a puddle of vomit in the back of her limousine as she emerged from her ride. And, as an indicator as to who can sink lower, it seems Britney’s estranged husband, Kevin Federline, may be doing better than Spears, as rumors are surfacing that the mother of Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline tried to lobby for an appearance in a Super Bowl commercial. The failure of that attempt was compounded by the fact Kevin Federline was able to get a Super Bowl ad gig with Nationwide Insurance Company.
