Lindsay Lohan caught all kinds of criticism for her rehabilitation stint at Wonderland.  But after a rough beginning where even the neighbors complained that she was coming and going at will, and at times it seemed like rehab was more like Club Med, along comes Britney Spears to make La Lohan look like a poster child for a successful stint for young Hollywood in rehab.

According to a report from People Magazine, Britney Spears checked into a rehab facility and then abruptly checked out.  Spears, 25, checked herself into Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Centre in Antigua "two or three days ago" but left after just one day and headed to Florida.  Another report has her headed back to Los Angeles.  Either way, it appears that her first try at rehab did not succeed.

TV’s Extra first reported that the singer had entered a treatment facility. TMZ.com later reported that she checked out less than 24 hours later.

Give Lindsay credit.  La Lohan’s mother has insisted that the actress is "doing great" after giving up alcohol. The Mean Girls star checked into rehab at the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles last month and mum Dina confirmed that the treatment has been extremely effective.

"She’s amazing. She’s great and she’s happy," Dina explained. "She’s in a really good space right now. It’s wonderful at Wonderland - how cheesy."  But at least Lindsay stuck it out and certainly appears to be better for it.
