Britney Spears once made headlines for emergency trips to Urgent Care and urgent trips to Emergency Rooms while she was pregnant.   Fans would hold their collective breath waiting to see if mom and baby turned out to be okay.  They always did and now Britney has two adorable baby boys.

Now she needs another emergency ‘Doctor’ visit according to Us Weekly.  This time, her career is feeling ill and according to the mag she is in Sin City to see Dr. Luke.

The magazine reports that Britney arrived in Las Vegas Wednesday morning to pay a visit to "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, the hot-shot record producer behind some of the biggest pop hits of the last few years.

In fact, Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph tells Usmagazine.com that she’s recording some tracks for her upcoming album (due out this fall) with the Doc the rest of this week at the Palms Casino Resort’s private recording studio.

Okay - who is this guy?  The weekly entertainment magazine explains in an online report that Dr. Luke, for those of you who don’t read the micro-type font on CD packages, is the man behind Kelly Clarkson’s hit songs "Since U Been Gone" and "Behind These Hazel Eyes," and he’s also written and produced for Avril Lavigne, Pink and the Backstreet Boys.

Says a Britney pal involved with the project, "She’s working with the best."  Let’s hope he can pull off a miracle.
