Britney Spears Snubbed by Fashion Elite

Pop princess, Britney Spears has been publicly snubbed at New York Fashion Week. Spears had her eye on a limited edition Heatherette bag, but her request to carry the clutch was politely declined.
The exclusive handbag designed by fashion model, Lydia Hearst, was one of only 100 made, and if Britney can’t get her hands on one, then who can?
Hearst is quoted as saying, " I’m only giving the bag to accomplished young women…women I look up to and respect." Ouch, too bad Britney.
According to celebrity gossip circles, Hearst denied Britney a bag because of her "bad image" and because she didn’t think Spears was a good role model.
Britney didn’t attend the Heatherette fashion show; but her media rep denied all reports of the bag incident.
