Britney Spears had seemingly slowed down.   The former pop star has been in the news lately, not for her singing and dancing talents but for her nightlife.  The one-time superstar now makes news from flashing seemingly every inch of her body for the cameras and lately she has even made news for allegedly puking while out into the wee hours of the morning.

What exactly went wrong?  Her former boy toy Isaac Cohen had seemed to slow her down, but he revealed in an interview that she has an affection for Jack Daniels.  It’s a tough question but with the recent tragedy in Florida one has to wonder, is Britney Spears headed down the path to Anna Nicole Smith, part two?

Though Anna Nicole was never the superstar Britney was, the similarities are there.  Both had failed reality TV shows, and both always found their way into the tabloid press for their wild antics.  Both have gone on TV and wept during interviews that the pressure is sometimes a bit much.  Smith, fourteen years Brit’s senior passed away last week of unknown causes but there are reports of drug abuse and another report from an eyewitness in Florida alleged that she was boozing heavily the night prior to her death.

Drugs are also rumored to be involved as numerous pill bottles were reportedly found in her room and bottles of methadone were also alleged to be near everywhere Anna Nicole stayed.  And while no one is accusing Britney Spears of any drug abuse, certainly her hard charging ways of late have those close to her concerned.

Let’s hope someone close to Britney gets her to slow down, go home and be a mother and get her career back on track.
